DaVita Healthcare Chooses Brooklawn Shopping Center for its Newest Location

DaVita Healthcare leases 9,000 sf in the Brooklawn Shopping Center, located at Route 130 & Browning Lane, Brooklawn, NJ.

Allan Greene of DTZ, a UGL Company, represented DaVita Healthcare Partners, while Rob Cooper of Metro Commercial represented the landlord Brookwrap II, LLC in the transaction.

The new DaVita Brooklawn location will be an integral part of the community, and its prominent location on Route 130 will add to the existing 2,210 DaVita locations, 2,114 of which are located in the U.S. with 96 centers located in 10 countries outside the United States.

“We are pleased to add a strong tenant like DaVita to the Brooklawn Shopping Center, making this center now 100% leased”, said Lee Brahin, CEO of Brahin properties.

DaVita is the nation’s leading provider of dialysis service treating patients with chronic kidney failure and end state renal disease. DaVita offers an array of services that include outpatient renal dialysis, renal dialysis home training, aphaeresis services and similar blood separation and cell collection procedures, general medical offices, and clinical laboratory.

Brahin Properties is a well established commercial real estate developer based in Philadelphia that has ownership or management interest in commercial properties in seven states including; Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Florida and Oklahoma. The majority of the portfolio is comprised of retail properties, such as community shopping centers, but it is a diverse package of investments that includes; office, medical, industrial, residential, self-storage, and a 700 acre mixed use Motorsports Park resort. They are pursuing further growth through initiating asset value enhancement projects, acquisition of existing retail properties and third-party management responsibilities.
