PetSmart Leasing 12,758 sf at Somers Point Plaza
PetSmart enters into lease for 12,758 sf at Somers Point Plaza located at 277 New Road Somers Point, NJ. Mark Gerlace and Tom Londres of Metro Commercial represented both PetSmart and Somers Point Plaza in the transaction. With 1,404 locations in the US, Canada, Pueto Rico, PetSmart is the largest pet retailer offering a wide array of pet items and services for the lifetime needs of pets.
“PetSmart is an integral addition to our mix of tenants at Somers Point,” said Lee Brahin, CEO of Brahin Properties. “It will draw a demographic of shoppers who can benefit from the other stores in the Plaza while taking care of their pets.”
Somers Point Plaza has been the main retail complex of Somers Point and the neighboring area since the 1960’s. The 278,188 sf shopping center has undergone expansions and renovations that continue to make it the premier retail location on Route 9 with such anchor tenants like Acme, Kmart, West Marine, Fashion Bug and Big Lots.
