Lee F. Brahin CSM, CEO, Director of Development

Lee F. Brahin co-founder of Brahin Properties, Inc. is the grandson of Leon Freeman, the company’s original founder.  Lee oversees the company’s new development projects in addition to heading up the leasing team.  Lee’s strong relationships with anchor and chain Tenants as well as local and regional lending institutions has helped to place Brahin Properties on the map as an active regional development company.  Lee’s recent development activities have added approximately 900,000 sq. ft. of retail space to the Brahin portfolio.  Lee began his career in the real estate industry in the commercial division of Coldwell Banker in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia.  Later with Depetris Realty Group of Florida his responsibility was to prelease planned shopping center developments.  He later returned to Philadelphia as a site selector for KODE Development Associates.  Lee graduated Cum Laude from American University in 1984 with a degree in Finance and Real Estate and Urban Land Development.  Lee is a certified shopping center manager (CSM) and a licensed New Jersey Real Estate Broker.

Judith Brahin, President

Judith Freeman Brahin, founder and president emeritus of Brahin Properties, Inc. has extensive experience in the Real Estate Industry. Her Real Estate career began at Albert M. Greenfield, Real Estate in Philadelphia. She later joined her father’s company Leon Freeman Builders. When she became president, she reorganized the company and has experienced successful steady growth in the shopping center business. The company has quickly evolved into a major force in the industry. The company is now involved in strip shopping center development, ownership and management from the Canadian border to Florida.

Edward A. Iaquinto, Controller

Edward A. Iaquinto brings over thirty years of accounting and financing experience to Brahin Properties, Inc.  He is particularly adept at controlling tenant receivables, budgeting and expenses control.  Ed’s attention to detail has often resulted in exposing errors by previous property managers resulting in unexpected tenant collections.  Ed’s good relationships with varied members of the real estate lending community have allowed him to finance several projects, from ground-up development to major expansions and renovations.  He has taken many loans from the negotiation of the loan application and the commitment letter through to closings handling most of the details himself.  In addition, Ed is an accomplished financial analyst having authored several leasing, acquisition, and development models.  He is a 1978 graduate of Drexel University.

Joseph G. Savaro, Director of Asset Management

Joseph G. Savaro is responsible for the management, re-leasing and asset management for the Brahin Properties’ portfolio.  Over his years of experience in the commercial real estate industry he has initiated and developed marketing and promotional strategies for regional malls in both the Baltimore and Philadelphia markets, has acted as owner’s representative on new construction and renovation projects, was responsible for coordinating lease efforts in newly constructed shopping centers, multi-tenant office and industrial buildings and has supervised numerous capital improvement projects.  Additionally, he has been instrumental in initiating and monitoring operating budgets, ten year capital improvement budgets, owner distribution schedules and lease administration requirements.  Joe is a 1980 graduate of King’s College located in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  His diverse capabilities assists Brahin Properties in offering owners full services to cover all of their real estate management needs.

Marcia Golden, Director of Leasing

Marcia began her career in 1988 at the onset of a real estate slump and has repeatedly proven that persistence and hard work can make a difference in any kind of market.   She has consistently found tenants for small stores in locations where other agents have tried and failed.  Marcia has been the primary force in several highly successful leasing campaigns which have made her a specialist in small store leasing.  She has inspired trust and good relationships with tenants as well as other brokers resulting in third party brokerage deals for Brahin Management Corporation and Commercial Property Associates, Inc.  She is a graduate of Rutgers University of New Jersey and holds real estate licenses in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
