Somers Point Plaza Shopping Center has been the predominant retail complex for Somers Point and the neighboring marketplaces since the 1960’s.

Recently, along with the opening of Target, the center had a renovation that included a new façade, site lighting LED conversion, and parking lot resurfacing. Significant investments were made by ownership, Target and Acme to provide an as new, user friendly and dynamic shopping experience. Over the years, the complex has expanded to 279,591 square feet and consists of a strong tenant mix of nationally recognized retail chain stores such as; Target, PetSmart, Big Lots, Planet Fitness, West Marine and Verizon. In all, there are over 25 businesses who are currently occupying Somers Point Plaza which has been enjoying an occupancy rate of nearly 100% through the last few years.
